01Data controller

This notice explains how Demir Vana processes personal data when you visit this website, request a quotation, contact us or apply for a job, under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. The data controller and contact details appear below.

02Data we collect

We process your name, company, email, telephone, city/country, requested products, size, pressure, quantity and any information you include in your message. Optional fields are not compulsory. Job applications may also contain education, professional experience and application details. Technical records may include IP address, visited pages, time, device and browser information. Do not send health records, identity documents or other sensitive or unnecessary personal data.

03Purposes and legal grounds

Information necessary to assess your request, identify technical requirements, prepare a quotation and communicate with you is processed for the establishment or performance of a contract where directly applicable (Article 5/2-c). Business representatives’ contact details and request management may be processed on legitimate-interest grounds, subject to protection of individual rights (5/2-f). Legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or protection of rights rely on Articles 5/2-ç and 5/2-e. Application details are used for recruitment assessment and communication. Sending a request does not grant marketing permission; any necessary marketing consent must be separate and optional.

04Collection and recipients

Data is collected electronically through forms, direct email/telephone communications and technical website records. It may be accessible to authorized staff, hosting, email and technical service providers to the extent required for their services, and public authorities/courts where legally necessary. Transfers to providers abroad are subject separately to Article 9. Reading this notice is not consent to an international transfer.

05Retention and security

Retention depends on the nature of your request and relationship, applicable legal duties and periods required to protect rights. Processing must be relevant, limited and proportionate. Records no longer needed should be erased, destroyed or anonymized. Access authorization and session controls help prevent unauthorized access. Please only provide information necessary for your request.

06Website storage and cookies

Browser storage/cookies may be used for language preferences, your quote list and administrative sessions. Personal data in visit and security records is also covered by the Law. If non-essential advertising or tracking cookies are used, the required choice/consent mechanism must be offered separately. This notice is not cookie consent.

07Your rights and requests

Under Article 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and recipients, request correction or erasure/destruction where applicable, and request notification of those actions to recipients. You may object to adverse results arising exclusively from automated analysis and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Submit an identifiable written request to the company address or another legally permitted channel. The email below can provide guidance; statutory identity and registered-email requirements apply. Requests are answered as soon as possible and within thirty days, with fees only where legally permitted.
